Buga Sphere UAP Filmed Over Colombia Remains Unidentified After Investigation

In early March 2024, residents in the city of Buga, Colombia recorded video of a metallic spherical object hovering and maneuvering in daylight. The object appeared smooth, reflective, and perfectly round, with no visible wings, rotors, or propulsion system. Multiple witnesses captured the object from different angles as it moved slowly through the sky before eventually disappearing from view.

The footage quickly gained attention due to the object’s unusual appearance and movement. Unlike conventional aircraft or drones, the sphere maintained a stable orientation and showed no obvious flight control surfaces. Its reflective surface appeared to mirror surrounding light and sky conditions, giving it a distinct metallic appearance.

Following the initial sighting, the object was reportedly recovered after descending into a rural area outside the city. Local residents documented the sphere on the ground and recorded close up video showing a seamless outer surface. The object appeared to be solid and intact, with no visible seams, rivets, or structural components typical of known aerospace devices.

Images and video of the recovered sphere circulated widely online and were later examined by independent researchers and investigative journalists. Some observers suggested the object could be an experimental drone or surveillance device, while others noted the absence of identifiable propulsion or control mechanisms.

At this time, no government agency or scientific institution has publicly confirmed the origin or purpose of the object. The lack of an official explanation has contributed to continued interest and debate within the research community.

The Buga Sphere incident remains one of the most widely discussed recent UAP cases in South America. The clear daylight footage, multiple witnesses, and reported recovery of a physical object distinguish it from many other sightings that rely solely on distant or low quality recordings.

As with many unidentified aerial phenomena, the true origin and nature of the object remain unknown.

This one caught my attention because it was reportedly recovered and examined, not just seen and lost. The internal structure is the most interesting part. If it really has multiple layers with no visible seams, it would be good to see proper lab analysis of the material. Until that happens, it is best to stay cautious, but this is definitely a case worth following.
