Argentina has officially declassified records tied to a strange 1991 event at San Martín Base in Antarctica. According to newly released documents, the base’s riometer, used to measure ionospheric activity, recorded high intensity anomalies lasting more than four hours. The device had three independent recording arms, yet all three reportedly drew identical lines at the same time. Engineers on site said this should not have been possible. At the same time, multiple crew members, including meteorologist Miguel Amaya, reported seeing a large luminous circular object move silently across the sky toward the sea.
Despite the unusual readings, officials allegedly instructed the team not to transmit the data by radio and to carry it back physically months later. Argentina’s civilian UFO research group CEFORA is now investigating and has contacted the electronics engineer who was present during the incident. A scientific instrument records something deemed impossible. Witnesses see a silent luminous object. The data is restricted for decades.
This case raises real questions.
